Dr. Steven Daehwan Ko, MD

Steven D. Ko, MD, joined Lutheran Medical Group in July 1998 as the group's second board-certified rheumatologist. Before coming to Fort Wayne, Dr. Ko was in private practice in Pasadena, Calif. Dr. Ko received a bachelor's degree in biology and medical technology from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, Calif., and a medical degree from the university's school of medicine. He completed an internal medicine residency at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, Ohio, and a rheumatology fellowship at the University of Southern California School of Medicine in Los Angeles. Dr. Ko has clinical interests in the treatment of early inflammatory arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, scleroderma, osteoporosis and psoriatic arthritis, and he enjoys teaching. He was a clinical resident instructor at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena. Dr. Ko, who is board certified in rheumatology, is a member of the American College of Rheumatology.
