Oral Surgeon Steven K. Ingersoll, DDS
Dr. Ingersoll received his dental education at Creighton Dental School where he graduated with honors. He then obtained his certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery from the University of Connecticut Health Center program. He has practiced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the same location in Phoenix, Arizona since 1982.Â
He has served his community by volunteering for charity projects and serving on charity Boards.Â
He has been active with his professional community by serving as Chairman of the Department of Dentistry at John C. Lincoln, Good Samaritan and Scottsdale Healthcare-Shea hospitals. He was elected as Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Scottsdale Healthcare-Shea, a position he held for 4 years. During that time he sat on many committees and interacted with some of the finest physicians in the Northeast Valley.Â
Other leadership positions include President of the Arizona Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons …and President of the Western States Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He also has been a consultant to the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners. Here he has been very active in the committee to regulate and provide safety in office based dental anesthesia
Dr. Ingersoll has obtained diplomate status with the Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Board of Dental Anesthesia.
Currently he has restricted his hospital based surgery to Scottsdale Healthcare_Shea.
His is committed to having the highest level of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery available to the Arizona community.
