"I'm like did these people meet the same guy I did? The esteemed doctor needs to take some of h is own medicine -- or maybe that's the problem. He talks at you, yells at you, and then gives you the silent treatment -- he even returns calls, no joke, at 1 a.m. He's gone, he should retire"

"I saw Dr Dubin because he came highly recommended from another medical professional. But I shouldve trusted my own feelings. He was focused only on medications, and did not provide any therapy or feedback. He formed an opinion very quickly and did not care for feedback. He decided, after 45 minutes — that I had probably been depressed all of my life, when I my depression was actually situational. The medication trials were horrible, but he didn’t believe me when I told him about the side effects I was experiencing. He said I was “scanning my body” for any type of reaction. I ended up getting into a car accident because of the meds — Prozac made me uncomfortably jittery and unable to sleep so instead of taking me off it he prescribed me ambien, which had a terrible hangover effect. These medication trials made me far worse than I was before I started them. I was functional before, but ended up in a very deep depression after trying six medications in seven months. The man used to get angry and impatient when I called him after hours to report heart palpitations or ringing in my ears. He just wasn’t committed. Sorry if I’m sick after hours, but you’re a doctor. If you can’t be on call someone should cover for you. The man cost me my job because the meds made me drowsy and unable to complete my work. Yet he insisted they were the way to go. And don’t think about questioning any decision he makes. He knows better. He also discouraged me from becoming a nurse. Said it would make me paranoid about my own health. I’m glad I didn’t listen. I’m a very talented, productive RN. "

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
