"I do NOT recommend this clinic for your dermatology purposes. Shareen Timani and her clinic do not cater to a patient’s individual needs and do not provide proper follow-ups to the standard of professional care that should be given. I have written a longer review on other sites, but this is a shortened review due to word count. Ultimately, my mom had a bad visit with this clinic and has a scar on her face from a biopsy and wart removal. During this visit, she was never given a proper explanation about why the area where the wart was removed was bleeding profusely, and the doctor that day did not take the time to calm my mom who expressed that she did not like the idea of using heat to close up the artery. She then asked for the doctor to stop because she was alarmed by the smell of her skin burning, but the doctor insisted on continuing for a little longer. My mom only gave a weak nod and closed her eyes to calm herself down. During the follow-up visit for questions about scar treatment, my mom wanted to talk to (PA?) Megan Tracy about opinions and further steps. Instead, Shereen Timani came in this time and treated my mom with disrespect, didn’t give time for translation purposes, continuously gave long, round-about answers, at one point asked to speak to the translator alone instead of talking with the patient, and never provided a proper prescription for the scarring created. Our pharmacist had to call the clinic THREE times for the prescription, which ended up being ointment for psoriasis instead of scarring. We ended up getting a second medical opinion at North Atlanta Dermatology and have been receiving proper care for the scar there. I would like for us to be able to visit one more time and have Shereen Timani formally apologize to my mom. For treating her with disrespect, for not doing a proper follow-up with the best possible way to minimize scarring, for making her feel unheard and ignored. I think that in a couple of weeks, I will call their clinic again and ask if Timani has taken the time to read this review and if she would be willing to properly apologize to my mom. I will update this review accordingly with her response Truly, I get so mad again every time I think about what my mom went through, but in the end, I just hope that Shereen Timani takes the time to read this review and that it leads to her fixing her improper behavior as a doctor and treating her patients with more kindness in the future. Also, my own opinion, but I hope she better trains her staff and hires the proper professionals who have the huge duty of carrying a medical license, which involves not just medical training but also ethical and moral responsibilities and that she practices all these responsibilities herself as well.
