Dr. Shannon Kimberly Lewis, MD

As I found myself getting into my 4th year of medical school, I thought I was going to go into surgery and be a urologist. I did my internal medicine rotation and fell in love with internal medicine. I loved the ability to sit down and talk with patients, to be able to have follow up with patients, and develop a relationship with patients. I think that’s what really pulled me in to the field of internal medicine, and subsequently gastroenterology. - Shannon Lewis, MD
