Dr. Shailesh Jain

Shailesh Jain M.D, serves as professor and regional chair for the Department of Psychiatry at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center of the Permian Basin. He is board certified by the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Psychosomatic Medicine. He completed medical school at the Medical College Calcutta, University of Calcutta, India. He completed his residency in adult at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He has a special interest in adult and pediatric mood disorders including major depression, bipolar disorders, generalized anxiety and panic disorder.
