"I called to make a appointment for a colonoscopy. I was not having any issues it was just a test that is recommended for my age. I let the receptionist/ nurse Lisa know what I wanted to make an appointment for. She was very rude and short from the beginning. She told me I cannot make an appointment for a colonoscopy I would have to come in first. That is all she told me. I called two days prior to my appointment because it had been about six weeks since I made it. I have not received any emails or voicemails regarding my appointment. I called to confirm. I asked if there was any paperwork I should fill out prior. Lisa‘s reply was that’s why you’re coming in at 11 o’clock. I said OK. As a patient all I know is that my appointment as is at 11 o’clock I have no idea what time I’m scheduled to see a doctor nor when I’m scheduled to do paperwork. Before entering big there are big signs wear mask, entering waiting room about four signs no cell phones more signs wear mask. Very cold and negative ...waiting room! I check in and start filling out the paperwork. I asked Lisa a few questions to make sure I’m filling out the paperwork correctly and she says I can’t hear you in a very rude tone! I said well I’m sure wearing the mask and the plexiglass you’re standing behind isn’t making it easy. Then I meet with Dr lugo. The only reason I’m giving 2 star is because Dr Lugo was very nice and did a great job explaining everything. I go to the front to book the procedure for the colonoscopy with Lisa. She then tells me she only has one appointment in two weeks from today. I said I cannot make that time. We look for a month out. She says well you’re gonna have to come back in for another appointment because it’s only good for 30 days from today. So I say OK. Then we proceed to book an appointment two months out. Then I’m told at that time that I would have to quarantine for three days prior to my procedure. One this was a complete waste of my time. If I could only book the procedure within 30 days that should’ve been explained to me prior to my coming in for this appointment. Now I would have to come in for another appointment I am expected to quarantine for another three days plus have the procedure. This is becoming a 5 to 6 days of my time. For something that should be a one day. That should’ve been explained to me before I ever made this appointment. I would’ve chosen to go somewhere else. Mind you this is 3 years after Covid started 9/28/2022. So if you want to completely waste your time and have someone talk to you like your dirt then go. Lisa clearly hates her job and doesn’t put any effort into explaining anything and had No bedside manner! I feel bad that this is Dr lugo‘s representation but I can’t be a patient where I’m treated like dirt by the nurse. "Read more
