Scott Wexler, D.M.D. – Children’s Dentist in North Scottsdale, Arizona
Dr Wexler brings his own smile to North Scottsdale Children’s Dentistry. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Wexler received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and his dental degree from Southern Illinois University. He spent the next year in a general dentistry residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. Dr. Wexler received his specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center located in Brooklyn, New York. In addition to these formidable clinical credentials, Dr. Wexler is the director and first dentist in the state of Arizona to be affiliated with the Neighborhood Outreach Action for Health (NOAH) program that helps uninsured and underserved children.
Dr. Wexler left Brooklyn, New York and moved to Arizona in 2004. He enjoys the active desert life-style including mountain biking, working-out and basketball. He also spent a semester studying in Mexico and eight weeks backpacking through the ancient ruins of Central America. His most recent exploration was a trip to Ireland.
Dr Wexler is a member of the Arizona Dental Association, the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
