"Dr. Scott Meisel is an experienced surgeon who is double board certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care by the American Board of Surgery. He is an expert in minimally invasive vein procedures like those performed at United Vein Centers.
Prior to his work at United Vein Centers, Dr. Meisel was an Attending Physician and partner at Palm Beach Surgical Associates in Wellington, FL where he practiced general surgery and wound care. Before moving to Florida, Dr. Meisel practiced in New York and Virginia, where he acted as a surgeon in several different departments.
Dr. Meisel’s medical education is extensive. After finishing his Bachelor of Science in Biology at State University of New York, he attended the College of Osteopathic Medicine at the New York Institute of Technology, earning honors in cardiology, hematology/oncology, gross anatomy, and psychiatry. He completed his internship at Beth Israel Medical Center and his Residency at Nassau University Medical Center, …both in New York. He then went on to complete Fellowships in Burn and Critical Care Surgery at Nassau University Medical Center, Hand Surgery at the University of Virginia Health System, and Surgical Critical Care at Stony Brook Medical Center.
