Scott Luttge, MD, comes to United Hospital Center from Delray Beach, Fla., where he served as director of the Boca Raton Regional Prostate Center since 1988. He was on staff at both Boca Raton Regional Hospital and the Delray Medical Center as the former Chief of Surgery. He joins UHC Urology, the practice of Grant L. Franklin, Jr., MD, William Tuong, MD and Luke Wiegand, MD. Dr. Luttge received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Md., and completed his general surgical internship at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Md. His urology residency was completed at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston, the largest medical center in the world, which includes St. Joseph Medical Center, Hermann Hospital and The M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, the #1 ranked cancer treatment center in the United States. Dr. Luttge is certified by the American Board of Urology. He specializes in urologic cancer, extracorporeal shock wave …lithotripsy treatment of urinary calculi, hand-assisted laparoscopic radical nephrectomy and nephroureterectomy, and the use of CO2 and ND-YAG laser.
