"Dr. Wood is dismissive and unprofessional. In early appt’s she was friendly and warm but she showed her true colors as my pregnancy progressed. By week 30 I was terrified that she would attend my birth, but I felt unable to switch providers so late. She mocked a medical condition that was subsequently diagnosed by another provider and told me outwardly she believed “there’s no way” I would succeed in birthing unmedicated. She was wrong. I was so relieved she was on vacation when I had my baby. No one should have to feel this way. Especially if you are considering an unmedicated birth- run in the opposite direction of Dr. Wood. Please find a different OB."
