"I am not a patient of Dr. Romero however I am the daughter of a patient who is hospitalized. Dr. Romero is a very kind, empathetic physician who listened to me and the concerns I have with one of his subordinates who was treating my father. Once I expressed my concerns to Dr. Romero, he apologized on behalf of his subordinate who is a nurse practitioner in his organization. I went on to state that I had lost complete faith in the nurse practitioner as the decisions that he made, the actions that he took and his lack of communication were irresponsible and unprofessional. Dr. Romero understood why I felt the way I did. He assured me that he would take the matter very seriously and address the nurse practitioner directly about my concerns. This interaction between Dr. Romero and I was a very positive one and I am very grateful to him for helping me during this difficult time for me and my family. We need more physicians like Dr. Romero in our community and our society at large. "
