Dr. Samuel Jonathan Hess, MD

Dr. Hess joined Advanced Orthopedic Center in August, 2005 after finishing a Spine Fellowship at the Maryland Scoliosis and Spine Center. Dr. Hess completed his medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine and his Orthopedic residency at the renowned Albert Einstein Medical Center. Dr. Hess' specialty is surgery of the spine. He has extensively trained and been board-certified in new technology and performs minimally invasive surgery. Additionally, he performs fusions, disc replacements, laminectomies, diskectomies, and scoliosis surgery. He is also certified in percutaneous lumbar decompressions. Dr. Hess was also recently appointed to the board of the American College of Spine Surgery and is active in developing new technology to treat diseases of the spine.
