Dr. Ryan Thomas Pitts, MD

Dr. Pitts is a fellowship trained, Board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a Certificate of Subspecialty Qualification in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic Surgery at Orthopedic Associates in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Pitt's is committed to providing high quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages, but has a special interest and expertise in athletes at the high school, college, and recreational level as well as occupational and Worker's Compensation injuries. Dr. Pitts completed his residency training at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN where he was exposed to state of the art, evidence based techniques in joint preservation and reconstruction for arthritis patients, nonoperative and operative treatment of shoulder, knee, hip, ankle, and elbow patients, and care of fracture patients. Dr. Pitts then went on to complete an additional subspecialized year of fellowship training at Washington University in St. Louis focusing on nonoperative and operative care of athletes of …all ages and levels, with particular focus on cutting edge arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
