"The provider was very friendly a... - The provider was very friendly and easy to speak with. He went over my medical history verbally with me, very thoroughly and patiently. However, he did very minimal when it came to the actual check up. I came in for a routine physical examination. I was surprised that the provider did not check my ears, eyes, reflexes, nor did he check my skin or my lymph nodes or much of anything else for that matter. Besides speaking together and discussing my medical history verbally, he listened to my heartbeat and breathing with his stethoscope, and he did order bloodwork. This is my first time seeing this provider, as my previous PCP retired, and I was offered to meet with this provider by the scheduling center. I am used to much more thorough routine physical examinations. Unfortunately, I feel as though I did not receive almost any (very minimal) actual examination and I will need to wait now until next year to qualify for another physical examination, per my insurance. Having said that, he is a very friendly doctor and I felt very comfortable with him."
