"This is not a reflection on Dr. yang as I am sure he is a fine physician. This is about the administration in his office giving me mixed messages and dropping the ball on inputting a covid test request to Clinical Labs Hawaii. Two weeks before my colonoscopy consult I called Dr. Yangs office and talked to his nurse about submitting a covid test request as it is required 48 hrs prior to a visit if not vaccinated. They indicated it would be done. I called the morning of my test scheduled for 2:30 pm and was told they would get it in but had not done so yet. I went to my appt and no request. Called the Doctor’s office and was told the Doctor was in a procedure. I waited half an hour and called to be told the covid test was my responsibility despite being told it would be submitted by Dr. Yang. Why would I pay $120 when my insurance will pay it if I get a doctor to put it in as a requirement? The system is broken so I will be going back to Tripler Army Medical Center to get outsourced ...somewhere else. "Read more
