Dr. Robert Schergen, DPM

Dr. Robert Schergen is a fellowship-trained podiatric surgeon, and his expertise is in performing forefoot surgery, rear foot surgery, and total ankle replacement. Dr. Schergen also has extensive training in advanced limb salvage techniques including the application of multiplanar external fixation, skin grafts, skin flaps, and muscle flaps. Dr. Schergen conducted a year fellowship in foot and ankle reconstruction and limb salvage through the Professional Education and Research Institute in Roanoke, VA. He also served a five-week fellowship in Germany to train with four renowned foot and ankle orthopedic surgeons.
