Dr. Robert Nocerini received his MD from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. He practiced Emergency Medicine for over 10 years before completing a residency in Anesthesiology and a fellowship in Pain Medicine at UT Southwestern in Dallas, TX. He maintain board certification with the American Board of Medical Specialties in all three specialties.
Over the past 20 years, he's practiced Emergency Medicine and Anesthesiology, but it was in Pain Medicine, where he saw the opportunity to make the biggest difference in my patients’ lives.
He treats chronic low back pain, neck pain, and joint pain, but he also has made treating knee pain the central focus of my practice. He's noticed that steroid injections and medications didn’t really address the root causes of knee pain. Yes, the pain might subside temporarily, but it frequently came back. This made him ask: “How do we achieve lasting relief?” He decided to research and create a comprehensive program with the goal of achieving better outcomes for patients with knee pain.
"Very beneficial in providing a common-sense treatment for the cramping in my left leg by providing corrective exercises and suggestions as to across-the-counter medications. He ordered x-rays on my hips to rule out any joint problems. He reviewed my supplement regimen and was most helpful in that area. My two visits with Dr. Nocerini have proved to be most helpful ."
