Since 1997, Dr. Robert Levin has served as Chief of Medical Oncology at CTCA at Midwestern Regional Medical Center. In discussing what distinguishes CTCA from other hospitals that provide cancer treatment, Dr. Levin points to the integral role that patients family members play here. Dr. Levin says, "Its a true pleasure to care for patients who receive such tremendous family support. It allows me to focus more intently on providing the best care possible for our patients."Dr. Levin is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology and has been on the medical staff at several prominent Chicago area hospitals. A graduate of the University of Chicago Medical School, he completed his residency at Northwestern University. While there, he also completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology.Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Dr. Levin now resides in Highland Park, Illinois. He is married with two sons, which he feels are three more reasons to believe in the incredible power of family.
