Graduated from Stanford University and received his doctorate from Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of California at San Francisco.
He received his fellowship training in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery in New York where he also served as the Assistant Team Physician for the New York Mets. In 2003, Dr. Baylis was one of six physicians chosen to receive the Florida CHOICE Award recognizing outstanding workers' compensation physicians. He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Baylis specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, shoulder stabilization, shoulder replacement, and arthroscopic ACL reconstruction. He currently serves as team physician for American Heritage and Arch Bishop Mc Carthy High School.
In addition, he provided medical coverage for the 2005 Fed Cup Delray Tennis Tournament. Dr. Baylis takes care of …orthopaedic and sports related injuries in patients at the Plantation office.
