Dr. Rima Patel joined Associated Retina Consultants in 2020 as a medical retina specialist. She is a board-certified ophthalmologist who completed her residency in ophthalmology at Loyola University Medical Center followed by a fellowship in medical retina at University of Southern California Roski Eye Institute. 

Dr. Patel has participated in many research projects and has coauthored multiple research papers on a variety of topics. She holds membership with several professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Phoenix Ophthalmological Society. Outside of work, Dr. Patel enjoys traveling, yoga, hiking, and spending time with her friends and family. She is conversational in Spanish, Hindi, and Gujarati.

Most also hold clinical assistant professorships with the University of Arizona.
