"I have been a patient for over 35 years. Growing up in a third world country, I did not grow up with access to strong dental care — in my hometown the practice was to pull teeth rather than try to treat the cavities. When I came to the US at age 16, I was already using dentures - which I grew accustomed to. At age 23, my fiancé took me to Hawaii. I excitedly bit a sugar cane, breaking my dentures, and revealing to my husband-to-be that he was going to marry a girl with a dentures like an old lady. As soon as we came back to Los Angeles, he went on a mission to find a dentist who can help a poor old lady, me… Dr. Silvera did not know that he was in for a challenge. There was a significant bone and tissue loss that lead to my facial appearance to be lop-sided. It took at least two years to finish my treatment. "No one I know enjoys going to the dentist. It's nothing personal, it's just the nature of the beast. That said, Dr. Silvera and his entire office & dental team do a fantastic job of making the whole experience really pleasant! However, all of that is meaningless if the dental care doesn't rise to the occasion. Again, I can report "all good"! Having been with the same fantastic dentist in NYC for 20 years, I was nervous about switching when I moved west. Now I see where I'll be going for the next 20 (like many other reviewers already have!).

"Hands-down, by far the best dentist I’ve ever been to. I would literally not go to a dentist if he did not practice. He is gentle, caring and explains everything all the way through. He is also an artist that takes great pride in his work. When it’s over you can’t believe that it went by so quickly. The next time you need to go to The dentist, run to his office!!! "Anya is the hygienist that cleans my teeth. Phenomenal!! Totally caring and professional. Also had full mouth X-rays today and the technician was lovely! Professional and always concerned for my comfort. Entire staff including front desk always makes something I’m dreading into a pleasant experience. Thank you.

"I had a scheduling error, and the OM went out of her way to fix everything and get me in on time, making everything extremely convenient. Doc is super friendly, actually interested in teaching you about oral hygiene. Haven't met a dentist, or doctor of any sort for that matter, like this before, and I work in healthcare!

"I went in to see Dr Silvera about tooth contouring. Wanted to “pretty up” my smile a bit without doing anything major. Dr Silvera met with me and took so much time in our consulatation. He went over my options, showed me exactly what he would do and how my teeth would look and he delivered! He is an exceptional dentist with quite a consmetic eye. Had the procedure done and I am THRILLED! My teeth look great! So grateful to have found him.

"I have been a patient of Dr. Silvera's for over 25 years. I have made many moves around Los Angeles County over the years but I have not changed dentists. In addition to Dr. Silvera, he has medical and office staff that have been working there for years. I am always greeted like a lifelong friend by all, which is wonderful and comforting. I visit every six months and plan to continue for the foreseeable future.

"He is the best dentist one can get. "they talked me through the entire process. Dr. Silvera was gentile with the first shot of novocane and I didn't even feel the needle. the last porcelain onlay lasted 17 years!
