Richard Naids, M.D. is Board certified in ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. His areas of expertise include Cataract and Intraocular Lens Surgery and External Diseases of the Eye.
Dr. Naids graduated from LaSalle University and received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. He conducted his medical internship at Abington Memorial Hospital and his ophthalmology residency at Temple University where he was Chief Resident.
Dr. Naids holds a U.S. patent for an ophthalmic shield and has co-authored several articles. He participates in many national, state and local professional organizations. He is actively involved in medical education and is a preceptor for the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and Clinical Instructor of Ophthalmology at Temple University School of Medicine.
Dr. Naids is on staff at Liberty Eye Surgical Center as well as Aria, Temple University, and Mercy Suburban hospitals.
