"First of all, the office is highly organized and you are never left sitting for long. I chose Dr Parr based on Goggle reviews and I was not disappointed. I've had eight surgeries in my life and never have I seen the surgeon twice for post-op visits. He answers all your questions, without rushing, makes sure you understand, shows images while explaining without a lot of jargon and then performs the surgery. My foot pain started in 2015 but progressed where I couldn't participate in life without so much pain. He was the only one who diagnosed me properly. He also made sure I had tried all conservative treatments prior to surgery. Best bedside manner of any Dr I've seen since 1981."

"I went to him with a broken foot. The plan was laid out for aligning the toes. Day of surgery at the outpatient center, nurse ignored that I can't have general anesthesia, even though their anesthetist said they would not be using, she said "you get what I give you." I couldn't wake up so jerked out of bed and stood up, which caused stitches to open on side of foot. By the time I got home the boot was full of blood. Called his office the next day (Thursday) to tell them how much it was bleeding and they said "just change bandages." By Monday I was leaving a trail of blood, called back and they said to come in. When you go in you aren't greeted at all, you stand (or sit) there forever waiting. The power was off so the nurse took me to a hallway near a door. The blood had stiffened so it had to be soaked in Peroxide and the nurse mumbled "oh Dr. Parr." She said they don't pay attention when somebody calls about bleeding because people make a big deal out of nothing. It took 3 people ...
to get bandage off and rewrap. On subsequent visits he would just look. Had an x-ray and the tech pulled the wheelchair from under me and I fell forward on the exam table. Not ONE time did he culture or offer anything but "wrap it." After the x-ray I found out he did a surgery I did not approve of at all. He wrote for an antibiotic and said that should didn't...and he would get very irritated and mumble. Called one day because a bone came out of the opening and the office again said "well you can do a walk in." He pulled another piece of bone out and left. Next visit he finally sent to the wound care center and they were pretty shocked. Their surgeon asked if it had been cultured, no, and I showed them the antibiotic and they said it was the wrong kind. They did a culture and sent it off and it came back the bones were infected. They gave me a rinse to use with each bandage change and scheduled surgery. He had to remove a lot of bone and found that one of the rods Parr put in wasn't even attached to anything. He also broke a toe and didn't fix it, so it turns under. WIth his treatment and the wash the wound finally closed. The care team said they were concerned first visit I would lose the foot. I had to go via ambulance to the hospital and the medic told me he knew 2 people who had surgeries by Parr who never did well again. Now none of the rods are connected to anything and I was just told I wilI never walk again. So job prospect are low, but I'm sure he doesn't care one bit. I wouldn't send my ex husband to him and that's saying something. "

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
