OVERVIEW

Meet Dr. Rasheed Singleton

Dr. Rasheed Singleton is a board eligible, fellowship-trained interventional pain medicine specialist serving our Non-Surgical Orthopaedics affiliate in Marietta, GA and Conyers, GA. He joins the team with over 17 years of interventional pain medicine knowledge and experience.

Dr. Singleton earned his medical degree from Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his residency training in Anesthesiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Following residency he completed his pain fellowship training at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.

During his time at Stanford, Dr. Singleton trained with renowned faculty helping structure his skills in treating a myriad of pain problems through multiple techniques and a fully integrated comprehensive approach.

Dr. Singleton was drawn to pain medicine by the specialty’s ability to allow for earnest conversations with patients that build relationships for advocacy and interventional treatment modalities with their care.

“The cornerstone of practicing medicine is the doctor-patient relationship, and all aspects of treatment spring from that relationship. My approach over the last 17 years is to have a conversation as equals about their health and what they perceive as the problem and how I can help moving forward. I am a fervent believer in helping educate the patient on their own body and what is truly causing the pain that is interfering with their life.”

In his spare time, Dr. Singleton can be found traveling with his wife, finding, and enjoying different ethnic cuisine or circled around the kitchen table with family, friends, and their golden retrievers.

Dr. Singleton is now accepting new patients at our Marietta and Conyers locations!

"I have been a patient of Dr Rollins at SIPA for over 10 years and was destroyed when he retired. I never thought I’d find a new Dr. I met with Dr Singleton and instantly felt at ease. His bedside manner is great and he’s willing to think outside the box for pain relief. I’m not sold on the other doctor at their practice, but Dr Singleton is great!"

"This doctor saved my life. He is understanding of my needs, has a care plan I can trust, and given me hope. He is one of the most outstanding doctors I have ever encountered."

"My first and only visit to Dr Singleton was shockingly bad. I had been a patient at Southeastern Pain for many years. I went for refill on my meds and pain pump. Dr. Singleton pressured me to get spinal injections over and over after I told him that I've had every procedure he ask about many times without any relief. He seemed upset that I did not agree to get injections. After my appt I checked with drug store and he did not refill any medicines. I called office and the nurse said he did not give any pain medicine. I told the nurse what would happen if I went from 4 pills a day to zero a day. She refused to answer. Do not ever trust this office again. If you are currently a patient you had better make exit plans or if you a searching for a caring practice you need to keep searching, this practice only wants to do injections, no opioids regardless of patient needs. Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
