"I had an extremely poor and traumatic experience with this doctor. I feel like he betrayed my trust. Acts in a manipulative way where he feels trust worthy but then when your completely transparent and honest uses it against you. My severe anxiety, was debilitating and went untreated. His suggestions for treatment were a one-size fits all approach. I’m so thankful I moved away and now have a doctor that truly listens and addresses my conditions and I’ve made positive or progress. After seeing Dr. Fader I had given up on the belief that therapy could help my life only hurt it."

"Dr Fader violated my patient rights and endangered my well being when I voluntarily sought his advice in my efforts to address injuries i suffered stemming from a series of in the Nevada Test and Training Range. We had one single session of less than 45 minutes and I endeavored to get professional advice to manage ptsd and acute stress disorder symptoms. We embarked on my giving an overview of a timeline of events where I was injured from military weapons testing near Nellis AFB. Dr Fader suggested I sign a HIPPA waiver to speak to family members to verify the events including an Attorney Sibling and my father whom is an Air Force veteran with almost 50 years experience as a logistical engineer specializing in MLS or Microwave Landing Systems. Dr Fader saw me in January and I waited until June 15th for next appt due to insurance issues. I waited bc he knew the subject matter which provided me enormous hope yet when I met him in June he decided to tell me that after speaking to my sibling ...
Attorney that the conversation gave him the grounds to represent it as a dismissal of belief in my account not only by my sibling but , also according to Dr Fader , this sibling claimed another family member , whom he never spoke to , concurred with this dismissal of facts. He forewent speaking to my Dad with 50 years experience in the field and told me I had imagined the events. My sibling and family are so outraged but his actions that left me so shaken and had sought to or at a minimum accomplished two things; I was left questioning the safety and trust of my home and family relationships. I was reeling leaving the second appt only minutes into it. Dr Fader used the psychiatric treatment session as an opportunity to address an administrative situation involving a nurse whom inappropriately conducted a drug screen of me to discredit my symptoms consistent with Havana Syndrome for which Dr Fader agreed was inappropriate and which results were negative for all drugs. What is inappropriate is for a long awaited psychiatric session to be used for an issue that is not of anything concern to Dr Fader as his role is to treat his patient and leave any administrative duties to others in it's proper context. My family members categorically refute Dr Fader claims of the brief phone call and his further representation to me, the patient, so full of hope , thus , willing to wait 5 months to see him based on his knowledge of events fractured the foundation of the sanctuary I had rebuilt since my return from Nevada late September 2021 until I could speak to my sibling six hours later. His motivations must be to provide cover to his coworker whom could be harshly disciplined? Only Dr Fader know why he knowingly left me in such a state of despair and he also knew i have maintained sobriety for over a year on my own and such an experience could jeopardize this. Dr Fader is absolutely in breach of his Canon of ethics, his decisions endangered my well being and his diagnosis is false based on information he claims he received from family which is also false . Can you imagine a soldier seeking his help after wartime and Dr Fader deciding the most appropriate manner in which to treat this soldier's PTSD and Acute Stress Disorder symptoms is to dismiss there ever was a war and tell the soldier he imagined ever being under fire? Please seek treatment from other psychiatric options to avoid the dangerous environment I have experienced under his brief care. Please check the State of New York Office of Professional Medical Conduct for further information on this situation . I have never reviewed on this site, I know everyone makes mistakes yet I am compelled to share this as my experience jeopardized all my efforts to improve my health and the rebuilding of my life after such a harrowing experience. We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
