"Dr Famini is the most thorough & competent doctor who has treated me. My visit took almost an hour today. This is my first visit with him. He meticulously read my medical history from other facilities. He did an ultrasound, and assured me that I do not need surgery. He provided options other than surgery, but only if symptoms develop. In layman’s terms, he carefully explained my condition & the symptoms that I need to be aware of. I had consulted with another endocrinologist earlier in the year who outright suggested that I have surgery! Thank you Dr Famini. I am so grateful. "

"I have seen Dr. Pouyan Famini several times now and I can say without any reservation that he is a great doctor. He is honest, authentic, and does not hold back. He is so knowledgeable and has always provided me with facts that have helped me make better lifestyle decisions. He has guided me through some of my health problems without being judgmental which is what I most appreciate about him. But, he may not be the right physician for people who are "sensitive" or are looking for a physician to hold their hand. "

"Dr. Famini is an excellent Western physician. I work in healthcare and I can tell what makes a great physician. I trust his judgement and management. He practices within the scope of evidence based medicine so yes he treats patient's based off of evidence and results of their blood work. Negative reviews, like the one below, are from dissatisfied people who refuse to accept that that they just have depression. "

"I don't understand the positive reviews at all. Poor bedside manner. He acted like he was doing me a massive favor by ordering blood tests. I'm a 34F who came in complaining of fatigue, and he missed the most basic of tests - ferritin. How incompetent must a doctor be to miss something like that? He goes strictly by the labs, not by your symptoms, so please be aware when choosing him as your provider. He could care less about you as a human. He just cares what the labs says, otherwise, "it's all in your head". I paid $650 for a 20 minute consult for nothing. "

"Dr. Famini is such a great doctor. He performed a painless thyroid biopsy on me. I was trying to avoid getting a biopsy due to anxiety but he walked me through the procedure and it really was not at bad as I had requested. Plus he was was so prompt to get back to me with the results. Highly recommended!"
