Pier J. Cipriani, DDS, MS Dr. Pier J. Cipriani is a graduate of the University of Scranton (BS, Biology), Seton Hall University (MS, Microbial Immunology), Temple University School of Dentistry (DDS) and post-graduate certification programs at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine (Implant Dentistry), Baylor University (Cosmetic Dentistry) and the International Association for Orthodontics. He was also been on the clinical faculty at Temple University. His most recent certification is in Invisalign orthodontic treatment. He is also actively participates as a clinical investigator with the PEARL Network at New York University School of Dentistry. He established a preventive and restorative dental practice in the Newtown area in 1976. His unique background includes developing innovative diagnostic and therapeutic technologies focused on oral cancer and skin cancer. He has consulted extensively with many leading oral care and skin care pharmaceutical companies and managed clinical …research projects. He has lectured at professional dental and dermatology meetings and presented research findings for US FDA review. He and his wife, Ann, have lived in Newtown since 1976 and are the proud parents of three great children, Michael, David and Tricia.

"I have been seeing Dr. Ciprani and staff since my youngest daughter was 3 years old (48 years). His professionalism, knowledge, care for his patients is exceptional. He explains ever procedure. We need more dentists, doctors , in any profession like him. His staff has the same qualities as him and they are friendly and caring. The office atmosphere is friendly and a delight to go into. Greetings are always with a smile and genuine. I recommend his office a ?? percent!"

"I have seen Dr. Cipriani and staff for approximately 4.5 years for dental checkups, cleanings, routine fillings and more pressing dental issues….namely crowns and implants. He and the staff are caring and friendly, accommodating and capable of providing top notch dental care. Not to mention the fact that all of my procedures have been pain free! This latest visit was for routine cleaning and oral checkup. Joan, the dental hygienist, is very thorough and friendly. Barb who assists Dr. Cipriani, is terrific and eases any fears! Ann and Kim are so pleasant as the office staff… all of them really help you feel very comfortable and at ease. The office and exam room spaces also provide a soothing atmosphere. I’m so thankful I found Dr. Cipriani’s practice when I was in desperate need!"
