Dr. Peter Joseph Dirksmeier, MD

Undergraduate education: College of the Holy Cross 1980-1984; Officer, United States Marine Corps 1984-1991; M.D.: University of Southern Californiia 1991-1995; Orthopedic Surgery Residency: University of Pittsburgh 1995-2000; Spinal Surgery Fellowship: University of Pittsburgh: 2000-2001. I have a comprehensive spinal surgical practice with extensive experience in everything from minimally invasive procedures to major spinal reconstuction. My practice is 100% focused on patients with spinal problems. I am trained in the evaluation and treatment of all spinal disorders. I work very closely with large physiatry and interventional pain practices in our community. In addition, I have a close relationship with the preeminent spine physical therapists throughout the seacoast, all of whom have a special interest in, and post graduate training in the evaluation and treatment of spinal diagnoses.
