Dr. Cross-Shokes graduated from St. Louis University with a Bachelors and Masters in 1976. In 1979, she earned her Ph.D. from Catholic University and completed her medical degree at George Washington University School of Medicine in 1985. Dr. Cross-Shokes is a member of the Harris County Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, National Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
