"I started seeing him a year and half ago due to the prior year of heavy bleeding, sometimes twice a month. He prescribed medication to stop the bleeding. I had 2 endometrial biopsies. The first biopsy was extremely painful so for the second biopsy he prescribed Misoprostol. The medication was prescribed to help open my uterus and make the biopsy less painful. The medication was taken two days before the biopsy and I had severe cramping in my back and abdomen for 2 days. I was miserable and could not work for those 2 days. The day of the biopsy, the biopsy was just as painful as the first one. I could tell no difference on the pain. The biopsy was performed and I received a call a few days later that he was unable to retrieve any endometrial tissue and requested that I perform the biopsy again in two weeks. It was at that moment, I knew I needed a new gynecologist. I started seeing a new OBGYN in August of 2023 and by October 2023, I had a DNC to remove fibroids and polyps something never ...
suggested in seeing him for a year and a half. My new OBGYN stated there was no reason to have 2 endometrial biopsies in a year and she would not perform one on me. After we discuss the results of the DNC, we will look into possible me having a hysterectomy. The moral of my story, a year and half of nothing being done to 2 months of something being done. Go figure… "

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
