"Dr. Venuturumilli seems to have an overly cautious treatment philosophy. She was slow to start treatment, and even when my Dad’s cancer was very advanced, she seemed very concerned with any possibility that a treatment might kill him, even knowing that lack of treatment would certainly lead to a prompt death. After the initial treatments stopped working, we had to get a second opinion to talk Dr. V into trying another treatment, which she then quickly cut off--even though Dad’s physical condition was markedly improving--because his blood counts were dropping, even though it was not clear if this was caused by the drug or the cancer itself. He never had any physical side effects from his treatments. Dr. Cotant was the only doctor in this practice who seemed to take an aggressive treatment approach.
