"I went in to see Dr. Dejean for a second opinion. We had a conversation only, no physical examination and I received a bill for just shy of $300. After various calls into the office (speaking to a different employee every time), I was assured that it was "taken care of". Months later I receive a bill from a collections office. Naturally, I call again trying to find out how that could. I was now told that none of my previous calls were logged and they couldn't help me. Even going thus far to say that "I must've not been happy with my previous doctor either" and that seeing a doctor "costs money". I have never experienced such a lack of professionalism from a doctor's office staff. Plus, this does not create an emotionally safe environment for someone who is obviously seeking help."
