OVERVIEW

It’s always been important to the Patel brothers that they really get to know their patients – and vice versa. For instance, both doctors have given back by volunteering to perform dental work in disaster-stricken regions such as Haiti and Guatemala, a practice they plan to continue whenever and wherever the need arises. Read on to learn more about the dentists at Serenity: Dr. Nilash S. Patel graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry after earning a bachelor’s degree in science and a master’s degree in Public Health from the University of South Florida in Tampa. He is certified in orthodontics and Invisalign®, with an emphasis cosmetic orthodontics for adults and late teenagers. He continues to take advanced dental courses on a regular basis in order to remain updated on the latest innovations in the industry. Dr. Nitash S. Patel also graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry after earning a bachelor’s degree in biology (with a minor …in chemistry) in three years from the University of Miami. His prosthodontics fellowship at the University of Florida focused on complex cases, including full-mouth reconstructions, implant-related restorations, prosthetic treatment for cancer patients, correction of cleft palates, and complex cosmetic makeovers. He continues to enjoy the challenge of working on full-mouth reconstruction cases for his patients, but is equally committed to comprehensive cosmetic and general dental care for the entire family. "Today I only had a 6 month cleaning . I was a little comprehensive due to the Corona virus, but everything was so clean . Everyone wore a mask and Lauren , who did the cleaning was so light on her hands and was very professional and made me feel completely at ease .

"Just last night I had a huge filling come out in one of my back molars while brushing my teeth. Of course I was alarmed about the tooth itself but I was also worried about going in with possible exposure to COVID-19 right now or not being able to get in to have this taken care of. I had some sensitivity pain and could not prolong going in with that hole in my tooth. I called this morning and they were able to fit me in and fixed my tooth so quickly, I couldn’t believe it. Everyone was very protected in their gear, masks were mandatory for anyone entering the office which made me feel better, and I felt quite safe while in the different parts of the office. I am one of those people who have not been going out at all if I could help it. I was so anxious about everything to do with this tooth issue but was pleasantly surprised during my visit today! If you need to go in for whatever reason don’t worry so much that you avoid it. They are prepared.
