Dr. Nelson Tordilla
Dr. Tordilla completed his undergraduate studies at Cornell University in New York, where he majored in biological sciences with an emphasis in microbiology. He received his dental degree in 1999 from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. He continued his education by completing a general practice residency at Metropolitan Hospital / St. Clare’s Hospital in New York City. He has also served on the faculty at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor in the Department of Diagnostic and Emergency Services. Since returning to the Bay Area, he worked as an associate dentist in a private practice before opening his own office.
Dr. Tordilla is a member of the San Mateo County Dental Society, California Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Eco Dentistry Association. Â
His emphasis on patient comfort and well-being, as well as keeping up-to-date with the …latest advancements in dentistry, enables him to provide patients with the best quality of dental care in. With his unique hospital training and wide range of experience in general dentistry – from cosmetic and restorative dentistry to surgical and root canal treatments – he views a confident smile and good oral health care as important aspects in promoting a person’s overall health and self-esteem. He continues to take advanced courses at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies (LVI), the Los Angeles Institute of Aesthetic Dentistry, the International Center for Laser Education, and the University of California at San Francisco.
In his spare time, Dr. Tordilla spends time with his wife and son. He participates in various community groups, including Peninsula School families, IMC, and RWC & PAMP Parents' Clubs. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing baseball, tennis, and basketball with his son.
