"Went to this dentist with tooth pain and he examined the WRONG TOOTH! Yes you heard that right. I made the mistake of just telling him the tooth was in the "upper right" part of my mouth that hurt vs. telling him the exact tooth and after looking in the area, he decided that the problem tooth was a different tooth despite no visible decay on the 2nd and significant visible decay on the first. He never examined the actual tooth that was painful and RIGHT NEXT TO the other!! Even worst, he didn't even mention the significant decay on the problem tooth or suggest I get a follow up appointment to get it fixed! When I told him the tooth that was hurting had significant decay, he said that I probably had just seen "staining" which was on my perfectly fine neighboring tooth. Unfortunately, I didn't pick up on him probing the wrong tooth as the whole area hurt and I didn't realize till I got home that he was describing the adjacent tooth and not the painful tooth.
