"While my interactions with Dr. Erickson were rushed, for the most part , they were pleasant. Her recommendations started off well intentioned. The majority of the office staff and the abysmal way she allows the office to run forced me to seek treatment from another provider. Dr. Erickson seems to have knowledge of pain and how to treat but needs to slow down, listen to her patients, look them in the eyes, not talk over them, explain her medical rational for treatment to the patient, and allow the patient to ask questions. Appointments are made on office time, not to accommodate the patients schedule. Patients are given a follow-up appointment date/time, not asked when they would like to schedule their next appointment. Dr. Erickson's office is only open Monday-Thursday 8am-3:00pm, despite being posted as 7:00-3:30(in office) and 8:00-4:30(online). The door is locked after the last patient checks in for the day. Rather than adjusting the "office schedule" there is constant confusion ...
of the appointment time verus the 20/30 minutes time slot patients are REQUIRED to arrive early. Patients are constantly turned away being told by office staff they are "late". It is impossible to get someone on the phone (multiple messages and days/week before a return call). The office staff with the exception of one MA (tall, short dark hair/skin) and the NP, the staff are rude, unhappy, and unable to complete the simplest of tasks without complaining and using "Nancy's list of excuses". The office manager, Nancy, has a list of excuses (new computer system, short staffed, I was out of office, etc.) and takes no accountability for mistakes, errors, her own ineptitude, and the utter incompetence of the staff. Scheduling procedures, obtaining proper insurance verification and refilling medication seem to be major problems for many patients. There are always a few expressing frustration, crying, or complaining in the waiting room. This is a very small office with only two providers that only see patients 4 days a week. Why are the staff so unhappy, overwhelmed, and unable to provide quality healthcare? It starts from the top, if the doctor and office manager can not admit mistakes, say, "I'm sorry" the patients will continue to complain, be in pain and leave this practice. Please do better Dr. Erickson. ?? "

"Dr. Erickson save me from being a quadriplegic this was due to her noticing I had problems walking. She sent me to an orthopedic Nuro surgeon. He found a crush spiral cord spinal cord. I have been in so much pain I felt like I was losing my self. I’m not a quadriplegic. But I still have trouble walking. I have severe damage to my spinal cord. I’m lucky I’m not permanently a quadriplegic. Thank you for saving my life."
