"Yo, and to, and re: and i.e. etc, et al, eat al (run al, run!) I'd like to give the Doc more stars than 2 but, maybe I'll be more generous as time passes, what already did? C'ool! But as I've read, his usual investment into the dr. v. patient relationship consists of "How are you feeling?" but as a Hospitalist*, a concept to which I have as of yet to find reason to appreciate, the stage is not quite set for him to be your best buddy, But I've discovered this, BE PROACTIVE, ask questions, stop playing Warcraft on your phone, go to webmd, symptom checker, check your symptoms, (Don't freak out if it says you are already dead, it's probably better this way, no more Politics, you really did look fat in that dress, if mediocre looking women here in America have never found you attractive then, what the hell are you thinking believing that those Stone Fox Ukrainian women have been waiting all of their lives to meet YOU?, not a person on the planet would ever believe that is ...
your real hair, Shea Butter was NEVER meant to go on Toast... no matter what your know-it-all sister said! Eh? Eh? So if you find that you really are still alive and not just waiting in line for the next crap in a cup Starbucks or Dutch Brother's Coffee is proffering this month, but really really alive, try formulating some real and on point intelligent questions that deserve answers, aka, invest in your own care because just in case you haven't noticed, the only people still out there doing that which they do in a Touchy Feely kind of manner, are exactly that last people on Earth, or in the entirety of the Universe you want actually touching and or or feeling anything you consider to be yours so read a good book, better yet, surprise your partner, of whatever nomenclature with the knowledge that you still know what to do and where to do it with what you do it with and to what she/he/it/them/those have, or write a good book, or rediscover your talent and interest in Finger Painting, you never know, you never know, you never know what Ol' Doc Atlef knows, unless you ask. You never know if you still have it unless you are willing, to yet, one more time, give it all away to someone else with no contractual obligations except the expectation of respect, buld a better kite, take that road you always drive by because...he, she, them, those, it, just might be there on the side of the road waiting then jumping up to say..."Where have you been all this time, Dead?" and if you hear yourself answering, "Yes!" ...then what have you lost, really? "He was my mom's doctor at Memorial Hospital. She complained of pain in her lungs and he never ordered an x-ray. A few days later she was sent to the ICU after they determined her lungs had filled with mucus. After four days she was taken off the ventilator and her lungs eventually failed and she passed away. "

"Dr Altaf was apparently my doctor at Memorial Hospital when I was brought into the ER with extreme abdominal pain. The ER was busy, I think? I was in the hallway what seemed to take hours to be attended to. I'm really not sure because I was in such pain. I had an IV put in and Blood taken. When I saw Dr Altaf he didn't identify himself and I had no idea who he was until the 3rd day in the hospital when I asked who he was. His bedside manner was NONE. I had NO Idea who he was. He barely spoke a sentence to me until day 6 when he asked how was I feeling. I said I want to Go Home, he said ok. He gave NOT ONE WORD to me for After Care. I didn't know until I read the Discharge Papers at Home, that I had ABDOMINAL SEPSIS!! "

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
