"I was recommended here by my high risk doctor. First appointment I waited near an hour to be seen in an incredibly full waiting room (Covid is still a thing and there are pregnant women jam packed waiting). The receptionist didn’t even acknowledge me for quite a while. I was finally bought back, the exam room wasn’t super clean-there was garbage all behind the exam table. I will say Dr Koul was seemingly super kind and confident being I am high risk- told me she had no issues with delivering me but that the hospital might be too far for me. she and I decided I would try to look for a doctor closer to my area (I am new in the state and not familiar with the area at all). I tried to call multiple doctors in the area and no one wanted to see me due to the high risk nature of my pregnancy. So I figured, well dr. Koul was kind to me and seemed confident in delivering me despite my health issues. I called and made an appointment and the wait was about a month out. Upsetting but I still made ...
the appointment and was told to call back to see if there was any cancellations. When I called back 3 weeks later to check for cancellations, they told me they would get back to me. I received a call the following day stating that I was dismissed as a patient and that Dr Koul refused to see me. Sobbing and confused as I am now behind in all my testing after waiting so long for this appointment, I asked for answers. The girl could only tell me that I needed to find a new doctor and that she would try to help me and call me back with other doctors info. Of course she never called me back. This is a terrible way to treat patients. An already stressful and high risk pregnancy made even more stressful by someone who is supposed to help people. "
