Welcome to my Web page. I'd like to take advantage of this opportunity to introduce myself and tell you about my practice at Kaiser Permanente. I feel fortunate about working at Kaiser Permanente because here I can provide quality care to my patients. I joined Kaiser Permanente in September 1997.
Biography
I was born in Tehran, Iran. I moved to the United States in 1985 with my parents and sisters. I have been in California ever since I moved here. I completed my undergraduate education and medical school at UCLA. I am proud to be an American citizen. I wanted to be a doctor since I was a child. My interest became stronger when my oldest sister attended medical school. I remember her coming home every day with an exiting story. I am married with three children.
About my practice
Medicine as a career is very rewarding. Being a doctor allows people to share with me their concerns, questions, and fears. It is a privilege to help patients with their problems or facilitate getting them the appropriate care. I feel very honored that patients have entrusted me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family. I believe in preventive care and like to help my patients stay healthy, but I will also be there for you when an illness occurs. I feel at Kaiser Permanente I can achieve this goal because of the great support I get from nurses and health educators.
How I thrive
I believe a healthy life is a balanced life. When I am not working, I spend time with my husband and three children. We try to eat a balanced diet and maintaining an active lifestyle. I enjoy hiking and bike riding. During summer time I enjoy swimming and snorkeling and in winter we go skiing.
