"I was there for several years and can no longer tolerate this doctor’s behavior. This is what I experienced. First, Dr. Amin exhibits a cold, arrogant, unconcerned attitude. He often did unnecessary tests. When I first met him, he was not at a hospital location (NYU) and had a PhD sidekick in the same office. Every time I went, Dr. Amin and his PhD sidekick insisted on doing a voice test even though I was no singer! I had to argue with the both of them in order not to do this test! Then, every visit Dr. Amin persisted in sticking a laryngoscope down my throat even though I was not coming for a vocal chord examination. Before I even saw Dr. Amin and explained why I was there, his team was numbing my throat for the scope! Lastly, he and his team ignored my calls and emails for results of tests that were validly done. Once you leave Dr. Amin’s office, you appear not to exist for him!! He doesn’t give a damn how many requests you make for results. He and his team are totally unresponsive. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR. YOU WILL BE AGGRAVATED TO TEARS! GO ELSEWHERE! "

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
