"Dr Jacobson, This is my 3 rd run in with him, the first one he actually told me a headache is nothing to come in for and during that visit he found that I had post partum preclamsia six days after I delivered ,and came in the room and said you are a trouble maker. This visit he stated that my headache was due to my anxiety and gave me Tylenol and Benadryl IV when I felt better and my BP stabilized from 180/129 back down to 120’s he told me that all of my visits since having a baby were to untreated anxiety I was shocked. I did not have the courage to debate him I quickly apologized and went home. When I got home I had a hard time dealing with what happened .No one should feel like they can’t trust themselves and their own body sure this time it was a headache but the time before it was something more serious. He is an unethical person and was not concerned about me as a person at all. Also when I asked his nurse to help me from distracting from the pain Her response was “no I don’t do ...
that” when he later charted in his report he stated that I wanted to tell her my story. Which is not what happened. The fact that I wanted to use distraction as a way to offset from my pain instead of pharmaceutical intervention was too inconvenient for them and meant that I was experiencing anxiety. I will be filing a formal complaint with methodist and the state. This is not okay. "

"The best doctor I've ever had. I wish he had his own practice. I went to the Methodist Women's ER for a panic attack I couldn't shake. I know, embarrassing... but he was extremely empathetic and didn't treat me how I assume a typical ER doctor would (annoyed). The nurse made me feel normal as well. He was able to pull me out of it faster than I ever have before. He taught me coping exercises, and he was able to explain to me (in a way I understand) on a biological/medicinal level why my arms/legs hurt, my hands were cramping, chest/heart pain, trouble breathing, shaking, and heart racing, and that it was a reaction from the anxiety/adrenaline. Now I know if I have a future panic attack that these symptoms are nothing too serious and I will be okay. I've had a few of these panic attacks this month, and I'm a single mom so I was too worried to go to sleep and needed to be reassured it couldn't be something more. Methodist Women's hospital is the best nurturing care you can get, and Michael ...
E Jacobson, and the nurse on made me feel less ashamed and leaving with amazing resources. Thanks guys. "

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
