OVERVIEW

With advanced fellowship training in both interventional pain medicine and sports medicine, Dr. Haber's medical practice approaches pain generating and disabling conditions with a combination of skill sets from both fields, implemented in coordination to attempt a more lasting reduced pain state with improved activity tolerance and lifestyle. A non-surgical approach is utilized for treatment of chronic pain conditions, and injuries related to accidents, work, recreational and sports. Sequential goals include pain generator identification and pain reduction initially, and subsequently take advantage of pain reduction gains made to facilitate correction of body mechanics (posture, movement patterns, and conditioning), to achieve maintenance of longer periods of pain reduction. To maintain gains made and prevent recurrent exacerbations of prominent pain, application of concepts developed for treating athletes apply well to patients who are not athletes, but have pain that is disabling or activity limiting. It is important to involve the patient in their treatment and rehabilitation, by giving them tools and training for conditioning and self care management. The patient transitions into being the most important member of their clinical team. While many conditions treated are common, each patient is an individual requiring their treatment approaches personalized for their specific needs and background. The ultimate goal is to achieve and then maintain the optimal activity level and lifestyle for a patient relative to their particular condition. Pain conditions commonly treated include: neck with headache, back and buttock, leg, arm, shoulder, knee, hip, feet, sciatica, degenerative disc, arthritis, carpal tunnel, elbow Diplomat, American Board of Pain Medicine American Academy of Pain Medicine American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
