Dr. Merrill Grant
For over three decades, Dr. Grant has delivered comprehensive care for lasting oral health. He has a reputation for excellence and is known for creating beautiful smiles. Many dentists in the area use him for their own dental care because they trust his abilities and appreciate his dedication to quality.
Education
After obtaining a BS in chemistry from Allegheny College, Dr. Grant went on to receive his doctorate in dentistry from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He then served his country as a Captain in the United States Air Force on active duty at Patrick Air Force Base and was selected for a postgraduate program in prosthodontics at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. Upon entering private practice in Pittsburgh, he continued to serve with the 911th Tactical Air Group for the next five years.
Dr. Grant has amassed over 3,000 hours of continuing education. He completed postgraduate study in dental implants at Harvard …University and obtained additional cosmetic dentistry training at Baylor University School of Dentistry.
Professional Affiliations
His numerous professional affiliations and memberships include the American Dental Association, Atlantic Coast Research Institute, Florida Dental Association, Brevard County Dental Society, Orange County Dental Society, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is a founding member of the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and a Fellow in both the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Grant has published several articles in highly respect dental journals and has lectured to the Brevard County Dental Society about dental photography.
