Melissa Houser M.D. is clinical director of the Parkinsons Disease and Movement Disorder Center at Scripps Clinic in San Diego, Calif. a subspeciality clinic that provides diagnosis and treatment for all forms of movement disorders.
Dr. Houser is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is one of the few fellowship-trained movement disorder specialists in the San Diego area. Her subspecialty training took place at Queen Square in London where she was on staff before coming to Scripps Clinic. Dr. Houser and her colleague, Steven Poceta, M.D. have a special interest in sleep-related movement disorders.
