"Absolutely no communication with my daughter the patient. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand it doing. The Drs are great when you see them. 2 solid days of no phone calls back, dr never updated when patient has to go to ER, any problems they are having, ambulance ride 8 days after giving birth and admitted back to the same hospital where she gave birth with same group overseeing. Prescription not signed. Pharmacy calls in to Dr office and they don’t have any record of it. Horrible customer care and communication. Forgot to mention when I called into them about prescription the receptionist said she would have someone call me back when she got her calls caught up. To which I lost it. When she was being discharged after giving birth they had no record of how much I had paid of her deductible as well. Last payment was made in March and she gave birth in June. Because of the lack of communication during business hours (no calls back) we spent $900 in emergency room visits. Which ...
I paid gladly but it’s infuriating because she tried to communicate and get with them during business hours. They are either to large or do not have the right staff. Oh yes let’s add Rhogam shot she was scheduled for three times every time they didn’t have it down. Glucose test three times she was told to show up for it and every-time except the last “oh we are supposed to be doing that?” It wasn’t just one thing that caused me to write this review. I won’t stop until someone from that Drs office tells us what they are gonna do to fix this. No first time mom or any mom should have to go through this. Ever. "

"Doctor Poston herself wasn’t awful and I will say she did a wonderful job with my c section. I have essentially no scar and had no c section complications. However my birth experience in general was awful. First and foremost I told Dr Poston from the start that I didn’t want an induction unless medically necessary. At my 39 week appointment she offered to induce on my due date. I refused to induce on my due date and needed up settling for induce at 41 weeks(dr poston was insistent on not letting me go past 41 weeks). I went in for my induction at 41 weeks optimistic that everything would be ok but I would have preferred to wait it out at least to 42 weeks. My night nurse was awful. She started the cervix softening agent but didn’t tell me I couldn’t use the bathroom for an hour and a half once it was started and at the same time started an iv and opened it FULLY! She also blew out my vein after literally digging in my hand multiple times before I told her to go get help. She later completely ...
shut off my iv causing me to not be able to get an epidural until I was 7 cms dilated because when I was finally ready for an epidural the day nurse realized I hadn’t been getting fluids and I couldn’t get the epidural until I had enough fluids. I had my water broke at 5 am by a doctor that wasn’t Dr Poston but a doctor from the practice. Nothing had been explained to me that this is what was going to happen. I was on iv pain meds and hen the doc came in to break my water so I was totally out of it. Long story short the doc broke my water with baby not engaged AT ALL and then her and the nurse left me in soaked sheets because “I was going to continue to leak water”.Before I got my epidural I had been having contractions with absolutely no break between for about an hr and half because my pitocin was completely jacked up. Then they moved me and my cord prolapsed causing babies heart rate to be non existent every time I had a contraction. Luckily my day nurse was competent and knew what to do because she calmed everyone down and made sure I got to the OR to save my baby. It wasn’t until I was in the OR about to be cut open that I finally saw Dr Poston. My baby was born unresponsive and not breathing due to the cord prolapse. Baby girl spent 10 days in the nicu and we didn’t even get to hold her until she was 5 days old. I was told during that first 5 days that baby almost definitely was going to have brain damage we just wouldn’t know how bad until after the 5 days of treatment. My nurse admitted to me that the cord prolapse would not have happened if the doctor had not broke my water when the baby wasn’t engaged! We went through so much stress as a family. Thank God our baby is healthy and has no brain damage but it doesn’t change the trauma we all experienced from what happened. I lost my milk production, I had to be cut open, my baby was born with no heart beat and not breathing, I sat and worried and stressed and cried for 5 days wondering if my child had brain damage. All of this happened because my provider and Henderson and Walton insisted on inducing me as a first time mother with no complications or risks at 41 weeks! Not only did they insist on inducing but they broke my water knowing my baby wasn’t engaged and knowing the risks this causes. I will fight for my health next time and my babies. And I won’t be using Henderson and Walton! Also to top everything off I never got discharge instructions when leaving the hospital (several nurses were supposed to do it and it never happened) also several nurses refused to give me my pain meds right after the birth and would get noticeably upset and condemning when I wanted/needed my pain medicine. Do yourself a favor and do research with a local doula or midwife to find out if Henderson and Walton respects the wants you have for your pregnancy and birth. "

"Dr. Poston is wonderful. She has a very reassuring demeanor. She was very patient and informative, answering all of my questions completely. If you are nervous about your annual appointment I highly recommend her. While being compassionate she is also very professional and unquestionably a highly skilled physician. "

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
