"I actually like this guy as a doctor. But his office and scheduling leave a lot to be desired. When I initially scheduled my appointment, he couldn't get me in for two months. That's pretty crazy, but ok. Some doctors are like that. I really needed in, so I took the appointment. Then, 1 DAY BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT, the office called and said he was taking a vacation day and it would be another 10 weeks before I could get in. He may be a great doctor, but I am not getting yanked around like this again."

"I was finally able to get in to see Dr John. It has been difficult since Dr Gregory left. Dr John really takes his time with you so you don't feel rushed ever. He listens, talks over options and truly shows he cares about you. He was referred to me by a friend and I have referred him to many since. Best Dr I've ever had!"

"I was referred to this doctor by an acquaintance who said Dr John is a caring compassionate doctor who understands patients with chronic illness that require pain meds. I was looking forward a new PCP since I live in southern Missouri and my current PCP is in Ks where I moved from. I waited over 2 hours for him to come in and speak with me. I’ve had fibromyalgia for over 26 years and have been taking the same low dose narcotics for 15 years. Instead of him coming in to sit down with me, he sends in his nurse who didn’t have a clue why I was there after speaking with her for over 15 minutes about why I was there, meds list, etc. just to tell me he won’t give me my medication as a new doctor. He stood in the hallway, hiding why he had his nurse do his dirty work. Yet, the doc has no problem with prescribing large amounts of OxyContin to the person who referred me. I’m a middle aged woman, with a good job, nice house, raised 2 successful daughters and this jerk treats me like the dirt beneath ...him because I take a low dose of Methadone for my chronic pain and 10+ other debilitating symptoms. I’ve never been so humiliated for having a disease I can’t control and for taking the only medication that works with my body chemistry and doesn’t have horrible side effects. I left there feeling absolutely worthless and in tears. They wouldn’t even refund my $40 cash co-pay. Dr John is a heartless, unkind human being. Word to the wise, go elsewhere and find a doctor who doesn’t discriminate or look down on you. "Read more
