"Ryan Gossage abandoned a patient at bedside so he could leave early on a Friday afternoon. He was supposed to do a procedure. He left the patient in severe pain, nauseous, and vomiting bile.The patient had been experiencing these symptoms for 3 days. By physician leaving early, he was leaving patient all weekend in that condition. He claims it was because a med wasn’t held but didn’t bother to ask nurse, really look in patient chart, or follow pharmacy procedures/protocol set forth at the hospital. He left the on call radiologist to step in and do his job. I wonder if it was his own wife or kids in the same position would he be so arrogant and neglectful. Not sure about bed side manner as he never came to ask the patient any information or assess his condition. If he did that to my husband he will do it to you. Just don’t try and catch on a Friday afternoon. He won’t make you a priority nor have a conscious to do the right thing. Had his assistant call to cancel even though they are ...
