Dr. Matthew Adams Banfield, MD

I grew up in Rochester, Minnesota and am delighted to have returned home to be close to my family. I enjoy fly fishing and golf in the summer, skiing in the winter, and cooking year-round. We live in Edina where my wife is busy decorating and updating a 1920s home, and our 2 children enjoy the nearby parks. I chose OB/GYN among the specialties because it was a unique mix of surgery and outpatient work. Pregnancy and childbirth are important transitions in a woman's life, and I find being part of that journey extremely rewarding.
