Dr. Groda Lewis received her medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany New York in 1984. She completed her postgraduate education in Family Medicine through the Western Reserve Residency Program in Youngstown, Ohio in 1987. She completed her undergraduate degree at Herbert H. Lehman, State University of New York, Bronx, NY earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1980. Mary, as she prefers to be called, has practiced family medicine for 21 years. Her success in overcoming a difficult childhood, a reading disorder, and a stroke to obtain a medical degree was highlighted in national magazines, TV talk shows and a 1986 CBS TV movie. She has practiced at medical clinics in Hawaii, Idaho, Wisconsin and Ohio and is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice. Dr. Mary is a member of the active medical staff with both medical and obstetrical privileges.
